1st Feb 2007 – Day 1 – Macau/Taipa

Me and my family boarded Airasia to Macau. There’s 6 of us.
Surprisingly, the flight was on time and it’s a new airbus, not like the stupid plane that I took to Kota Kinabalu last time.

We reached Macau airport about 10 minutes early and my uncle who’s working in Macau came to fetch us.
The weather was nice, not too hot nor too cold, but a lil hazy.

All of us stayed in my uncle’s apartment in Taipa, which is an island beside Macau.
Macau and Taipa are both islands.
It feels like Malacca coz it has Portuguese influences.

1st stop: Dinner @ Restaurante “Nove Mano” – Chinese restaurant
Details: Lobster sashimi, “Monk Jump Over The Wall”, etc. Yummy yummy!!!

2nd stop: Casinossss….
Details:
Walked into some of the Casinos to have a look.
Surprisingly, nobody checked my ID when I entered. Haha…
Everywhere you go in Macau you can see casinos, hotels, restaurants, jewellery shops, pawn shops and branded retail shops.
And most buildings are lighted with colourful lights.

3rd stop: Macau Fisherman’s Wharf
Details: A tourist spot by the seaside with hotels, shops, beautiful lights and of course casino.

4th stop: Wynn – casino again
Details:
We went in to try our luck, hehe…
My mum made a few hundred bucks.
I lost the HK$50 that my mum gave me. Bad luck for me.
