I’ve been using my holiday to update my resume and to apply for jobs since I’m in my last semester. So far, I’ve completed 2 online applications to 2 banks. Online applications are tedious (to me lar) because I have to fill in the blanks one by one. Then, after filling the application form, I have to double check and double check in case I have any typo errors.
For the first application, they have the assessment test where I need to answer some, well not some it’s quite a lot actually, questions in a given time limit. The questions are generally about describing myself and I was given multiple choices to choose from. But after spending hours filling in the form and answering the questions, at the end, the system told me that my profile did not match what they are looking for. So I told myself never mind, maybe I did not do well in the test.
For the second one, I only have to fill in the application form which means I just need to give them my details. There’s no online test. So after filling in, I clicked to submit the form and within seconds, the system processed my application and at last they also told me that I was not suitable for the job. WTF?
For the first test I can understand because they provided me with the test. But the second one only has my details. I really don’t understand how their system can judge my details. I did not even give them my full results. I really wonder what they look for. So in the end, I just emailed my resume to them, just to try my luck.
