Today’s afternoon lecture was cancelled. I hate it when lecturers cancel classes without early notices. This lecturer said that her throat was not feeling well and she needs to see the doctor. So, she’ll replace the class on Saturday. When she said that she wants to cancel the class, fine, we can’t say no because she’s the lecturer. I don’t like to talk bad about her but when she said her throat is not feeling well, I feel that it is not a good excuse. You know what, I attended her morning tutorial and she managed to criticize the student’s presentation with her bad throat. She criticized in a rude way and said her voice can be heard clearly. While the student was in the middle of her presentation, she asked the student to skip to the conclusion because she said the student didn’t answer the question given. I feel that is very rude of her. Although she has the student’s presentation slides before hand, why not just give people a chance to finish their presentations, maybe they have things to add on which they didn’t include in the slides. I’ve heard from my friend that she do this to all the students who took this subject. Next week is my turn to present, just hope that she wouldn’t tell me to skip to my conclusion.

hmm... think of a way to interest the lecturer... maybe that's what she trying to tell you all loh... make some jokes while presenting, make the environment less serious... relax the whole class with your charming smile + cunning jokes...

that's what they taught me in LUCCT that i still remember... :) presentation CAN be fun... :D
